Cold Symmetry has announced two editions on Steam. Both are digital-only for now — there is no separate physical or collector's edition listed on the store page, whatever a third-party site's naming might suggest.

Is early access worth $10?
The entire price difference buys two things: playing roughly three days before everyone else, and eight cosmetic Shell skins in an obsidian color scheme. There's no separate content, quest, or gameplay system locked behind Devout — it's a pure cosmetics-plus-early-access deluxe tier, the same shape as most digital deluxe editions on Steam.
If you don't care about a few days' head start or reskinned shells, Standard gets you the identical game on launch day.
Steam is currently showing pre-order pricing ($34.99 Standard / $39.99 Devout) ahead of the August 20 release — the figures in the table above are the confirmed post-launch MSRP from the studio's own announcement, not the temporary pre-order discount.
