Aion 2 Launches fromis_9 K-Pop Collaboration and Major Membership Overhaul

Aion 2 Partners with K-Pop Group fromis_9 in New Update

NC has updated its MMORPG Aion 2, introducing a special collaboration with the K-pop group fromis_9. The update brings themed cosmetic items, events, a major membership overhaul, and new PvP content.

Fromis_9 Cosmetics, Emotes, and Events

The collaboration features an in-game video of the fromis_9 members traveling through Atreia. Players can acquire cosmetics matching the outfits from the video, and wearing the full set transforms characters into the group members. The crossover also introduces the Baby Flonyang and Flo-bong pets, Four-Leaf Clover Wings, and the fromis_9 Lightstick weapon skin.

Additionally, two new emotes feature dance moves from the hit song LIKE YOU BETTER. Using these emotes plays the music, allowing nearby players to dance along. Performing them on the town fromis_9 Collaboration Stage triggers automatic stage effects. The commemorative event, The Stolen Performance Props, runs until August 12, offering three emotes and a limited-edition title for finding missing stage props.

Membership Overhaul and PvP Content

NC has also streamlined the game’s subscription options. The existing Shugo Express, Breeze, and Chengarung memberships have ended, replaced by a single Kwairing Express membership. This consolidated plan offers a lower price and improved benefits.

The update also introduces the Abyss Rift Zone, a large-scale PvP battlefield where players fight for control over field bosses. Rewards include Abyss Points, Abyss Commendation Medals, and six types of Abyss Boss paintings. The zone opens at regular intervals, matching servers without consuming regular Abyss entry time.

Quality of Life Improvements

Based on player feedback, the world map pin limit has increased from 10 to 30. Additionally, all skill cooldowns will now reset at the end of an Awakening Battle.
