Wolcen Studio announced that its isometric extraction action game, currently under the codename Project Pantheon, is preparing for a new closed alpha test phase taking place from August 20 to 25, 2025. Those interested in participating can register via the official project website.
This Closed Alpha 3.1 focuses on balancing, gameplay improvements, and adding quality-of-life features for players. Key updates include:
- Redesigned balance for items, enemies, and skills.
- Improved beginner training.
- Updated main menu.
- Various graphical enhancements.
- Smoother turning animations.
- “Sort Stash” button to quickly organize inventory.
- “Complete Quest Log” button to collapse active quest descriptions.
In addition, the studio confirmed that Project Pantheon will be present at gamescom 2025 in Cologne, where they promise to make a “major announcement” that could mark a key milestone in the game’s development.
