SEGA is diving deeper into Hollywood. Following the success of Sonic the Hedgehog, the publisher is now teaming up with Universal Pictures for a new film based on OutRun, directed by none other than Michael Bay.

Alongside Bay, actress Sydney Sweeney joins as producer, and Jayson Rothwell will be writing the screenplay. It’s an unexpected but exciting combo for a video game adaptation.
