Legend of YMIR Korea Adds Archer Class and Major PvP Balance Update Ahead of Global Launch

The Korean version of the highly anticipated blockchain MMORPG Legend of YMIR has received a major update, introducing the brand-new Archer class as its main highlight.

The Archer is a versatile fighter capable of striking enemies both at range and in close combat. To try out the new class, players don’t need to create a brand-new character; they can simply use a class change ticket.

Server and Gameplay Changes

The update also introduced important adjustments to the game’s infrastructure:

• Merge of three server groups into one, directly impacting cross-server battles.
• Introduction of the option to run two game clients simultaneously, which developers say enables more strategic and flexible gameplay.

PvP Balance Adjustments

The patch also implemented key changes to the PvP balance system:

• Adjusted PvP attack power and defense power stats.
• Reduced PvP critical hit damage values.
• The Dash skill now grants immunity to crowd control effects while in use.

On the Road to the Global Version

Meanwhile, the pre-registration for Legend of YMIR’s global version remains open, with its release scheduled for Fall 2025. With this update, the MMORPG is positioning itself as one of the most ambitious and competitive blockchain titles of the year.
