Chrono Odyssey sparks controversy after receiving Adults Only rating in Korea
The time-bending MMORPG Chrono Odyssey, developed by Chrono Studio and published by Kakao Games, has stirred headlines after receiving an Adults Only rating in South Korea due to graphic violence and blood.

The Korean Game Rating and Administration Committee pointed to "excessive bloodshed and combat violence", resulting in the restriction for players under 18. With its seamless open world and time-altering gameplay—enabled through the Chronotector artifact—Chrono Odyssey promises an epic journey across different historical periods.
The rating aligns with the game's mature narrative and intense combat scenes. Chrono Odyssey is currently gearing up for its global Closed Beta Test in June 2025, exclusively on PC via Steam. The full game is expected to release in Q4 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
