CD Projekt RED has officially dashed player hopes for any further downloadable content or expansions for their flagship title, ‘Cyberpunk 2077’. The definitive announcement originated directly from the studio’s official ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ X account (formerly Twitter) on March 10, 2026. Responding to a direct user inquiry about potential ‘secret new DLC’, the developer issued a concise and unambiguous statement: ‘We have no plans for additional DLCs or expansions. If anything changes, we will inform you all!’ This explicit declaration firmly closes the chapter on post-launch content for ‘Cyberpunk 2077’, a game that has impressively sold over 35 million copies.

While the focus on ‘Cyberpunk 2077’s future content has concluded, CD Projekt RED’s development studios are bustling with other ambitious projects. Confirmed upcoming titles include the highly anticipated ‘The Witcher 4’, a dedicated sequel to ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ currently scaling up its development efforts, ‘Project Hadar’ – an original action RPG, and ‘Project Sirius’, a dedicated multiplayer experience set within the rich ‘Witcher’ universe. Beyond these official announcements, the gaming world is currently alight with rumors surrounding a potential new DLC expansion for ‘The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’. Although still unconfirmed by the studio, multiple signs suggest that this eagerly awaited content could see a reveal and release sometime this year, sparking considerable excitement among fans.

The community’s persistent inquiries regarding more ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ content were likely fueled by the game’s history of receiving unexpected, significant updates long after its initial release. Ironically, CD Projekt RED’s clear cut response has redirected much of that fervent player energy towards pressing the studio for updates on the rumored ‘Witcher 3’ DLC. As anticipation builds for the official announcement of ‘The Witcher 4’s release date, potentially within the current year, fans are now shifting their attention from Night City’s future to the mystical lands of the Continent’s past and future.

We have no plans for additional DLCs or expansions. If anything changes, we will inform you all!
