A band of bandits settled at the bottom of the Canyon. They appeared here after the illusionary enchantment that protected Zumion Village and the Canyon was removed. They cause trouble by stealing and raiding the nearby Notos Legion bases. They also attack the Spirits traveling to and from the bottom of the Canyon, causing the Spirits to become violent.

The battle at the Nahid Brigade Fortress ended in total defeat for the Daeva. Many were captured or succumbed to extinction, and what few survived went into hiding in places such as the Cave of the Defeated.

This cave is where the defeated guardians hid from the Balaur chasers after fighting them. It holds the records of the Guardians of Verteron, who fought a fierce battle against the Ishtar Brigade. The Guardians eventually met their end in this cave.
