Crafting Calculator — FAQ

+How does the crafting calculator work?

Search for any craftable item and set the amount you want. The calculator walks its full recipe tree — every nested sub-recipe included — down to raw materials, then totals everything into one base-material shopping list. Each entry shows how many you need and links to its item page.

+Are crafted sub-components expanded too?

Yes. When a recipe uses parts that are themselves crafted (refined materials, combo parts), the tool keeps expanding them recursively, so the final list only contains the true raw materials you actually gather, farm or buy.

+How does it handle Splendent (combo) items?

Most high-tier gear isn't crafted directly — each base craft has a chance (usually 25%) to also produce its upgraded Splendent version, which becomes a component for the next tier. Choose a Splendent item and the calculator expands the base recipe, shows the proc chance, and estimates how many crafts you'll likely need.

+Which professions does it cover?

All five crafting professions — Blacksmithing, Tailoring, Jewelcrafting, Alchemy and Cooking — across 1,288 craftable items built straight from the game data.

+Where do I get the raw materials?

Each base material links to its database page, where you can see how it is obtained — monster drops, gathering nodes, vendors or reward chests.

+Do I need an account?

No. The calculator runs entirely in your browser — free, with no login required.
