Publisher Perfect World Games and developer Hotta Studio have announced a new closed beta for Neverness to Everness on PC, running from July 3 to 16. In a special livestream last Sunday, the team showcased multiple features coming to this supernatural open-world urban RPG.
The headline addition is a “vehicle requisition” system that lets players take control of any car in the city. Doing so triggers wanted levels reminiscent of GTA, adding tension and dynamism to exploration.

Online races get major upgrades too, letting you challenge friends or face rival street gangs across Hethereau. Matchmaking and AI have been retuned to deliver fairer, more intense contests.
The update also debuts a new weather system: real-time snow rendered with physically based shading (PBR) and subsurface scattering, making every flake look authentic and breathing extra life into the Unreal Engine 5 metropolis.
NTE is still in development for PC, consoles and mobile. For details or to sign up, visit the game’s official website.
