The dark medieval world of Vampir has made a triumphant entrance into Taiwan, Macau, and Hong Kong. Within just one week of its release, the game achieved a staggering peak of over 120,000 concurrent users. This success follows the regional debut that took place on March 11, 2026, signaling a massive win for the publisher Netmarble.
To accommodate the unexpected flood of new adventurers, the technical team had to work overtime. Developers were forced to more than double the server count, expanding from ten to twenty-two active game worlds. The reception was particularly warm in Taiwan, where the game topped the popularity charts before the official launch even occurred.
The financial performance has been equally impressive for this mobile and PC title. The title quickly climbed to the second position in revenue rankings only twenty-four hours after the official launch. This continues a trend of dominance previously seen in South Korea, where the game dominated app store charts shortly after its release.
In its home market, the project reached the number one revenue spot within nine days of being available. Peak activity in Korea was even higher, with more than 200,000 players logged in simultaneously. To see the game in action, watch the latest footage here:
The industry is buzzing with other significant updates and releases this week. The massive surge in players forced the team to quickly deploy additional server capacity to maintain stability and performance.
