Netmarble has confirmed that its highly anticipated open-world action game The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin will be showcased during the Opening Night Live 2025, the kickoff event of gamescom, one of the world’s largest gaming expos.
The presentation is scheduled for August 20 and will mark the game’s first official international appearance since its showing at the Summer Game Fest 2025 in June.
During the event, the developers will unveil a new trailer featuring never-before-seen footage, and speculation suggests that Netmarble might take the opportunity to announce key updates ahead of the game’s global release planned for 2025.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is based on the popular manga The Seven Deadly Sins and serves as a narrative sequel to Grand Cross, the hit mobile RPG. In this new installment, players will journey across Britannia as Tristan, the son of the iconic Meliodas and Elizabeth.
The title promises a deep combat system, a variety of activities, and an extensive roster of heroes not only from the main manga, but also from the spin-off The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
With its open-world gameplay and anime-inspired visuals, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is shaping up to be one of the most exciting RPG releases of the year for fans of the genre and the universe created by Nakaba Suzuki.
